[Something in his arm just snaps. He sacrificed it in order to break her chain, and that draws a grin out of her. This guy is good. He knows how to treat these things. She'll give him that. The moment it snaps it's back in her hand; a pole arm once more, as though it always had been, just in time to catch the sign and try to send it flying all at once.]
no subject
It'll take more than that to get rid of me.
no subject
That arm of yours is gonna be completely useless soon, y'know.
no subject
The kid pushes back, but Shizuo doesn't so much as flinch and they're locked in a fierce stalemate. He's fighting just as if his arm was in perfect condition.]
This is nothing.

She manages to push the pole to the side just fine. However, thanks to the sheer amount of kinetic energy put into this swing the moment the sign hits the ground it shatters. Not just the sign, but the earth, too. She has to move fast or she's going to get hit by a large chunk of pavement.]
no subject
Hopefully Shizuo can move just as fast, because he's going to find spears resembling the ones she's been fighting with jutting up out of the ground, near, if not under him, one after another, before disappearing with a burst of red magic just seconds later.
Magic has it's uses, sometimes.]
no subject
The appearance of the spears definitely takes him by surprise, but he does manage to get out of the way quick enough to avoid getting impaled on one of them. One of them manages to dig a nice gash into his leg, but he sure as hell doesn't feel it.
He watches the spears disappear and for a minute he just looks... confused more than anything.
That changes fast.
His fists clench by his sides and he growls. It's low and dangerous, barely restrained murder in his eyes.]
What the hell was that?! What kind of coward pulls shit like that?!
no subject
What kind of idiot would hold back when their life was on the line? This isn't a game, y'know!
[She runs towards him, her spear breaking down into links when she swings it at him, letting it act as a whip rather than a spear.]
no subject
Shizuo, why you fight little girl with spear? Fighting always bad!
Come, we stop fighting and go eat sushi.
[And to the girl, he smiles]
Russia Sushi very good! No made from people!
no subject
For the love of god and all that is holy. He grits his teeth, storming over to Simon seething. He stops when he gets to a motorcycle that (was at one time) parked, grabs it and HURLS IT AT SIMON'S FACE.]
Damn it, Simon! Get out of my way!
no subject
Damn it!
[She pulls back a little too fast and winds up falling flat on her ass, the links locking together and forming a spear once more. She's going to feel this later, but right now she just pushes herself right back up, once again pointing her spear towards the newcomer--or rather, at Shizuo behind him. She has enough sense to not be the one to throw the first punch at a stranger (and a pacifist, from the sound of it--spouting all that feel good nonsense,) at least.]
Sure, I'm gonna empty out my wallet there, but can't I leave this guy a splatter on the pavement first? He's got no sense of decency, y'know.
[Throwing a motorcycle at him. Really.]
no subject
Come, Shizuo! Eating delicious sushi much more fun than fighting.
[And to the girl...]
He just cranky is all! Feel much better after eating delicious sushi!
no subject
I don't want sushi! It's not going to make me feel better!
no subject
Yeah, well. I'm not gonna be the one backing down here, y'know.
[Or if she is, she's not going to be the only one. Her stomach is growling though. Loudly. All this talk of sushi is reminding her that she's starving.]
...tch.
no subject
[He looks back at Shizuo, face as serious as ever]
Fighting never make you feel better. Is always bad.
no subject
Something between a sigh and a growl comes from him as he adjusts his sunglasses.]
... Fine. I'll go get some damn sushi.
no subject
I guess I could go for that.
[Her spear disappears. She stretches her arms out above her head, their fight (and the damage that it caused) seeming to be immediately forgotten. She takes a few steps forward and there's a flash of red before she returns to her civilian form, her Soul Gem taking it's place as a ring on her finger.]
Russia Sushi, was it?
no subject
Yeah. You coming or what?
no subject
[She speeds up a little to catch up with him, waking beside him with her hands folded behind her head.]
You're not half bad, y'know. Not as good as me, of course, but you don't run home crying like most of the losers I gotta put up with.
[That's as close to a compliment as you're getting, Shizuo.]
no subject
Same goes for you, kid.
no subject
Want one?
no subject
[He looks down at the box, shrugs his shoulders and takes one, nodding in thanks.]
Yeah, sure. Thanks.
no subject
[She pulls out a stick for herself, clenching it between her teeth before stuffing the box back into her pockets. She talks around it.]
So like, does this place have a high suicide rate or see a lot of murders or something? This place is packed to the brim with malice, y'know. More than any city I've been to. It's weird as Hell.
[Of course, by "malice" she means "Witches." Not that she can complain, since it benefits her--she could get fat off of the Witches here.]
no subject
This city's got it's fair share of color gangs, scumbags, and then some. If you're new in town like you said you are, you probably haven't heard of it, but up until recently there's been a bunch of attacks by this guy everyone's been calling the Slasher.
