It had been an easy enough little gig, ridding this little town of that group of bandits - albeit an accidental one. On her way in, she'd taken out a few that had accosted her on the road. It just happened that her particular way of dealing with them knocked one close enough to their hideout to tell the rest of the bandits.

So they attacked the town, trying to find Lina and get back at her. They found her. And she gave the rest of them the same treatment the first batch got.

And then she promptly weaseled her way into getting some payment out of the heads of the village, on top of what the bandits had been carrying - and since they had mouthed off about what happened, she was en-route to their stronghold - today was just lucky all around!

Funny because Ed was on his way here to investigate that same bandit problem. When he arrived he was surprised to hear that the bandits had already been disbanded. A young lady had taken care of it for them. ... For a minimal cost.

This town was already struggling and someone had the nerve to ask them for more money? Hell. No.

Today might not be Lina's lucky day after all because there was a certain alchemist looking for her.
