[This was not how this sting was supposed to go down. All of the intelligence they had gathered had pointed to this being a simple operation. Their target, Perry Platterton, was supposed to be at the building by himself. What they found when they walked in was not the platypus in question, but a bomb that was big enough to level at least 6 city blocks.
That would be a terrible situation all on it's own, but what made it worse was that the timer was already ticking and they had 5 minutes before it blew. And, just for that little extra bit of awful, there was no way the bomb squad could get here in time.]
I don't know about you, Carrots, but I wasn't trained in bomb removal.

[Her eyes went wide as she looked between Nick and the bomb. Five minutes? They couldn't even get through the line for coffee in five minutes most days, let alone disarm a bomb! Oh no no no, it was not supposed to end like this! There were still so many things she hadn't seen and done and things were going well and she had a great partner and... and...]
[And she was still Judy Hopps, and one thing was still true: she still didn't know when to quit.]
[Deep breaths. She could do this!]
Alright, so we just... disarm the bomb then! How hard could it be, right? Just cut a couple wires and we're good!

I'm sorry, maybe I misheard, but I think I just heard you say we should disarm the bomb ourselves!
We're not the bomb squad! The best thing we can do for these animals is call for an immediate evac of the surrounding area and then get lost before it blows!

[She sighed and tried to calm herself down. It was a... well, a stressful situation, but she wouldn't do them any good worked up.]
So, do you have some brilliant evac plan you want to share, or are you helping me disarm a bomb?

So for a moment he's silent, but he soon heaves a heavy sigh and rubs at his temples. She's right. Of course she's right.]
All right, all right. Let's do this.
