[Even though he knew this trip was largely a distraction because Terra and Aqua were going out on a mission and didn't want him following, Ven's day had been amazing so far. Regardless of the reason for the impromptu mini-vacation he was glad to get out of the castle again and visit Inaba. It was great to see Yosuke again and this time he finally got a chance to meet Teddie when they visited Junes!

The two of them got along great so when Yosuke was momentarily called away, he probably didn't think it was a big deal to leave the two of them alone.

But... it was.

Because Teddie thought it would be a fun idea to take Ventus to see the world he came from.

By the time Yosuke gets back all he'll find is one very distressed looking Teddie with some very, very bad news.

IT'S 2 PM. DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR VENTUS IS?

It's the TV. He's in the TV.]

Okay, yeah, he's my girlfriend's adopted little brother. I swear I was going to tell everyone about her, but she's sort of from really far away so... you know...

I know she's tough firsthand. It might be dangerous, but she'd never agree to be left behind while we go. Besides, I don't think a lot of the Team is around this weekend, so we might need all the help we can get.

[While she is double-checking, she doesn't really sound unconvinced. Yosuke knows his stuff when it comes to fighting, so if he thinks Mysterious Secret Girlfriend can handle herself, that's probably true. Besides, even if none of the other IT members can come, after all they've been through, she and Yosuke-senpai and Ted should be able to watch out for her if they need to.]

Hey, do I at least get to know her name before I meet her?

[He gives an inner sigh of relief. That's one more thing out of the way. Now...]

Sure. Her name's Aqua, she'll be the pretty girl with the blue hair. I'm going to try and get her now, but meet us in the usual spot! See you soon!

[With that, he doesn't wait for an answer and hangs up. That just leaves Aqua. Time to text her!]

[There is a period of two minutes of silence. Two minutes of absolutely no idea if Aqua has her phone on or if for some reason, said phone does not work in the world she is in (despite her modifying it with magic to do so).]

[And then...]

[The phone rings.]

[And when Yosuke answers, there is only the sound of someone behind her asking "Aqua? What's--"]

HE'S WHAT?!

What's going on? And Ven's where?

[Oh NO her phone is on speaker.]

[The clock's ticking, after all!]

We stopped by Junes for topsicles, my dad needed a hand with something, so I asked Ted to watch him for ten minutes and the bear took him into the TV! I'm already getting friends together to get him out, I promise! We'll make sure he's safe.

Ah, so you're... Yosuke, right?

[It's a logical guess, and the fact he and Ven were teasing Aqua about him despite him never having met the guy yet was a favorite passtime.

...and seeing Aqua, it's probably a better idea that he say something.]

So what you're saying is Ven's in trouble, and you think Aqua and I are going to let you do it alone?

...Terra, go tell Master what we've done here. There's something going on where if you have even a single doubt of yourself, it will spell disaster if you enter the TV.

Yeah. The TV world feeds on every insecurity you have until they're actually trying to kill you. My friends and I are used to rescuing people from it - but it had seemed like it was better, which is why someone - [Totally glaring at Ted] - thought it would be safe for him.

[It's the best way he can say it without shouting NO IT'S COOL AQUA'S ALREADY BEEN THERE.]

[Interrupting that before he finishes that question...!]

Please tell Master that my boyfriend did a dumb move, and that I'm going to pick Ven up. I'll explain when I'm on the way.

Can't you explain it in a way that will let you come and see me after all this is over?

[He's not keen on becoming persona-non-gratis at the Land of Departure, or Aqua not being allowed back.]

Don't worry, I'll tell him it was this "Ted" guy who looked away for five seconds and Ven wandered off.

[Like he didn't do that a lot after he finally shrugged off zombie mode. He's got your back, bro ~~if only because he still likes flustering his notsis~~.]

Terra, you're the best. Come visit with her sometime, okay?

And Aqua... the sooner you can get here, the better. One of my friends is trying to round up the gang, but I don't know how many people we can get, and we don't want him in there a second longer than he needs to be.

[Bit mad that she won't let him go with? You bet he is, but if this is time sensitive he isn't going to hold them up too much! ~~potentially follow a little later may be a different story~~]

[Oh thank Light, he's listening! ~~she hopes~~ With a tiny sigh of relief, Aqua makes a nod to Terra before summoning her Keyblade armor.]
