Not at all. My world certainly has magic although a very small percentage of the population is aware of it's existence. Even smaller is the amount of people capable of performing such actions. I happen to be one such person, but if the general populace were to become aware of this... if I wasn't immediately committed to an asylum the aftermath wouldn't be pleasant to deal with.
